Honesty and communication are the cornerstones of any relationship and the legal relationship is no different. Zealous advocacy, thorough preparedness, and a keen knowledge of the law are essential inside the courtroom, but it takes more than that to effectively represent a client. A lawyer must be willing to address all of a client's needs and ensure that each client understands the steps required to manage their case and craft a result that suits them. I will always provide effective representation throughout every stage of litigation, while remaining available to my clients. One size does not fit all in the law. Each area of practice, each client and each matter has its own nuances and a lawyer must be willing to adapt to the style and approach most carefully designed to get the best possible result. A team-based approach allows for the open exchange of ideas across different areas of practice. So, regardless of the complexity or size of a case, if a client needs assistance, they will feel confident when they call for our advice.

David Levine is an associate attorney with Klauber Shields with significant commercial litigation experience. He focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation, foreclosure defense, and personal injury. Prior to joining our team, David was an Assistant Town Attorney for Davie, Florida, where he handled municipal litigation and issued legal opinions on various municipal issues. David served as legal advisor to the Town’s Planning & Zoning board and as a municipal prosecutor. David is admitted to practice by the Florida Supreme Court in all of the courts in the State of Florida and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

David graduated from the Boston University School of Law in May 2010, where he received an academic scholarship and was an intern to the New England Innocence Project. Prior to that, David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from the University of Central Florida. David has lived in South Florida since 1987 and currently lives in Pompano Beach with his wife and two puppies.

A team committed to results.
Individual commitment to a group effort is what makes our team work. We bring our own individual personalities, experiences and skills together for the benefit of our clients. While we each maintain our own practice areas, we have implicit trust in each other and we know when to seek the others' advice.
